Here are a few of my favorite fun ideas for children’s bedrooms or playrooms:
Wooden Letters
Personalize your kids’ space by hanging their name in their bedroom.
IPOD holder
I think an ipod with an alarm clock is perfect for their nightstand. They will be able to play their music and wake up in time for school. They offer so many choices these days for ipod players.
Growth Chart
Little kids love to see how much they are growing! I am sure they will love counting the numbers and measuring all their friends to see if they are growing too.
Picture frames with photos
My girls love having a few of their favorite photos hanging in their room. Hang pictures of friends or family for your kids. I am sure it will put a smile on their faces before they go to bed.
Bank
Encourage your kids to save their money! A piggy bank is not only a darling accessory to place on the shelf, but your kids will look forward to saving money for college.
Personally, I found it helpful to keep it simple, real and fun! The more books your kids have the more they will want to read.
Bookshelf and books
I love decorating with our favorite books! Good colorful books not only encourage reading but look great. Display a few of your favorites.
