Childrens Tea Parties

Childrens Tea Parties are so much fun!!! Invite over several of your little daughter’s friends, depending on the age of your children. They will look forward to attending and won’t want to miss your little girl’s special party.

This is a great chance for the children to practice using their nice manners. You will be so proud as they say “Please” and “Thank You!”

Inviting the Tea Party Guests

I thought it was best to invite just two of my close friends and their daughters. Each of my girls had a little friend at our party. They were all nice and calm and not too crazy, so my friends and I were able to enjoy the party too.

If your girls are older, you may want to invite more children. They would all love to come over to show off their favorite party dress!

The Party Invitations

You can make darling invitations with your children. Cut out a piece of paper in the shape of a tea cup for the invitation. Then, add a pull-out piece of paper in the shape of a tea bag with the party details.

The Childrens Tea Party Setting

Set each table with tea cups and saucers. Be sure to place table clothes on each table. You can use flowers from your garden to place on the tables. I think it would be fun to use vintage flower table cloths. Use cloth napkins too, because those are extra fancy.

If you are having young children at your party, make sure your tea cups are unbreakable. Or, if you use cups that could break, use ones you would not feel too bad about losing.

Childrens Goodies and Tea

You will want to be sure to serve your favorite decaffeinated tea and your favorite tea cookies. You may also want to offer tea cakes, muffins and juice.

Fun Activities

You may choose to read a story at your party. One of our favorite books is Fancy Nancy.

I would also highly recommend the Sticker Dolly Books from Usborne Books. They are a lot of fun and educational. The children love reading them and playing with the stickers.

Play princess music at your party. The children may want to dance.

Planning your Childrens Tea Party

Invite several little girls. Send out your invitations a week before for your children. You may want to ask the moms, in advance, to save the date. My girls just got so excited that we had to have our party right away!

The Tea Party Dress Attire

Ask everyone to wear their favorite dresses to your party. No tea party attire is complete without the gloves and party hat!

Be sure to have your camera and video camera handy! This will be a moment that you won’t want to miss capturing!

Location, Location, Location

You may want to keep you tea party indoors to keep it simple. Or, have it outside in your garden on a beautiful day! No matter where it is, the girls will have a great time so please keep it simple.

Your Childrens Tea Parties

I am sure you will have a great time! I am looking forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to come back and let me know.

Enjoy your party!
