Childrens Warning Signs

Does your child seem to be displaying childrens warning signs trying to catch your attention, but you are not quite sure if you are ready to listen? Are your children having difficulty in school and at home? Well you must be getting close to listening since you are here.
Sure none of these individual warning signs on their own are a problem but if you start to put together all the pieces you might have something. Your child might need your help! So, please read on…. I hope I can help you.

No, I am not an expert. I am a mom and former teacher. So please, if you feel that your child needs help, contact a professional. I have several links below that you might find helpful.

Has a rigid posture – Always sits up strait Enjoys Arguing Seems rude even when just being factual (Come across being sassy!) Displays aggressive behavior

Please do not be alarmed if your child has one or two of these behavioral traits. The problem is when the children show several warning signs and need help.

I am not here to help you diagnosis your child. I just want to share with you warning signs to help guide you on when it’s time to find help for your kids. Raising children is not easy, especially with extra challenges thrown in.

Personally, I have found that understanding a child’s warning signs makes it much easier to deal with the child and to help him or her through their difficulties.

If you have any questions, I would recommend that you consult with your developmental pediatrician or developmental health professional for more advice.

Early intervention is the key to a child’s success! So, please be your child’s advocate to get them the help they deserve.

Best of luck! Nancy Murphy
